The little terrace where I could sit on my own was a big plus, and the B&B is nicely decorated. It’s in a very quiet area, with an easy 15-minute walk to the town’s waterfront, shops, and restaurants. I could either take care of things myself or have an excellent breakfast on some days, with lovely fresh fruit from Ingrid. For work, Casa Batavia was just right for a few days in the center of the Netherlands, and getting to my job in the Amersfoort to Amsterdam area within 45 minutes was easy. It also let me enjoy a bit of nature. Ingrid, thanks so much for your hospitality. I hope to see you again soon! Adios, Vicente

The breakfast was very complete, and there’s plenty of attention to detail throughout. The room is tastefully decorated, with a pretty bathroom, a kitchen, and outdoor seating. It’s a nicely situated B&B, about a 10-minute walk from the marina. Highly recommended.

We felt at home right from the start and had a really relaxing four days. Ingrid, who owns the studio, is warm and open, and gave us useful tips about the area straight away. She respected our privacy, but occasionally emailed to check if everything was okay or if we needed anything. The studio was spotless and lovingly furnished, and we didn’t lack a thing. It’s peaceful there, with the nearest supermarket a three-minute drive away and other lovely places 20-30 minutes away. The nearest beach and Batavia Stad Fashion Outlet are both about four minutes by car. We’d love to come back.

We slept well, and the B&B was beautiful, with candles lit outside in the evening. The hostess was friendly, and breakfast was nice and generous. It’s close to the harbor, where we had a delicious meal.
