The canal views from the villas are lovely, but our villa was missing basic toiletries, including hand soap in the toilet and body wash. At checkout, we were also asked to empty every bin and strip the beds. Those rules caught us by surprise, since no one had told us about them beforehand, and we haven’t had the same requirement at other stays. Clearer communication about the house rules in advance would help avoid delays and confusion.
We were really well looked after by the staff, and the village is beautiful. It’s a wonderful place to stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back soon!
We spent two weeks here outside the busy season and found the place comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen. The weather was good enough for us to enjoy the patio too. The only snag was construction closing one direction of the main access road, but we found a way around it without much trouble.
The cabins were comfortable and the place was nice and relaxing, so we had a great time and would come back. A few things could be better, though: the bathrooms and showers need a couple of shelves, the beds were much too soft, and the towels were unacceptable quality.
Our accommodation was clean and really pleasant. The garden had water on one side and fencing around the others, so our toddler and dog could play safely and freely. The staff were very friendly and suggested nearby restaurants. We’d love to return, and I’d definitely recommend it to a friend.
