It’s a lovely building in a great spot beside the canal, with parking spaces nearby. The staff were attentive, and I liked the tea selection. We’ll come back to eat next time.

It’s spacious and cozy, and a nice place for breakfast or a drink. The kids are welcome too. Dinner has been less successful for us, though. One Friday evening I waited over an hour for my steak. By the time it arrived, I couldn’t enjoy it while it was warm, so I took it home. Service in the evenings seems slow in general.

We often stop here for takeaway coffee on our evening walks. It’s a nice spot by the canal. Still haven’t tried the food :)

A great place for a drink before dinner, with boats passing by to watch.

We got apple pie to go, lockdown style. It was the best apple pie, too!
