It’s actually an old townhouse in a very good location, with paid parking out front. There’s no elevator, and the stairs are so steep that carrying a suitcase up them is nearly impossible. My second-floor room was very small, with no fridge or air conditioning. Bed linen is changed once a week. For a weekend, it’s okay. For a longer stay, I wouldn’t choose it.

The host was very congenial, and the hotel is in a great location. A wonderful place. I’ll come again :-)

The rooms are modern, spotless, and comfortable, and it was lovely to return to such a welcoming place after work. I stayed here for a couple of weeks on a work trip. Gerard is a real gentleman who goes out of his way to help with what you need. There’s no restaurant, but don’t let that put you off booking, especially with so many good places to eat in Middleburg.

After a couple of tough days aboard one of our ships in Terneuzen, I couldn’t resist a little road trip. I hadn’t planned to stay in Middelburg, but ended up dropping in here at 22:00 on a Saturday night in March. The manager, Gerrard, I think, was super cool and very accommodating. My room was clean and comfortable, and he even went out of his way to cook me ham and eggs for breakfast. I promised not to tell anyone. Oops! 😉
