Fletcher Wellness-Hotel Brabant-Mill

The room was filthy, with awful carpet stains, and the bathtub had a large hole that someone had tried to patch with sealant. It looked bad and didn’t feel safe. The place itself seemed unfinished or long overdue for renovation, more like a construction site than a hotel. We were charged €1.50 per night as a “state tax” and another €1.50 per day as a “service fee,” though we received no service. Staff also offered parking for €5 even though Hotels.com said it was free. This was a disappointing stay and poor value for the money. I wouldn’t recommend it, as there are better options at the same price.

I’ve stayed here before because it’s near the clinic that treats my knee disability, and the price has usually been reasonable. This visit was a letdown: at 36°C, there was no air-conditioning or mosquito screen, so we slept badly and got bitten. Reception said every room had a fan, but ours didn’t. When we asked for one, my wife had to carry a heavy fan to the room herself the next day. On the positive side, reception was very helpful about mailing back my wallet, which I’d left in the safe.

The location was great, and the restaurant had a really relaxing atmosphere. Such a lovely, cozy, comfortable place, with friendly and helpful staff. It felt like home, maybe even better. 😍

We arrived at 11 am for my birthday celebration, and there were already lots of people. The spa is small, but it’s my favorite because it’s easy to get around. I loved the little triangle-shaped sauna for four, with a cold pool right beside it. The place was clean and the service was good. It’s only 17 minutes from the house and very cheap too. I’d love to go back soon.
