The little tower has a lovely position by the water in the city center. We chose it after our wedding because having a place of our own to sleep seemed more romantic than staying with the other guests at the hotel. We had told them we were staying there for our wedding, so we expected some small sign of it when we entered the room. There was nothing, no card or bottle. The bathroom was sparse too: towels were provided, but no toiletries or shampoo. Maybe the letdown felt worse after a whole day of celebrations where everything had been arranged perfectly, but we were really disappointed. For what it was, the price felt high.

We stayed here after our wedding. The room was fine, with a good bed and a nice view over the water. The bathroom was much the same, though there were no extras to expect: no shampoo or shower gel, and no special gift for the bride and groom.

The Torentje Aan De IJssel was a fantastic place for an overnight stay during a 50th wedding anniversary celebration in Montfoort. The owner gave us a warm welcome that afternoon. It was clean, and a comfortable bed matters to us. We had lunch straight away at De Broers, hats off to the chef! Staying overnight at the Torentje is quite an experience.👌🏽

There was plenty of room for the three of us, including a spacious room and a comfortable seating area. It was clean and nicely decorated, and we could have drinks in our room. The brothers were friendly and hospitable. Breakfast was generous and delicious. A super nice place, highly recommended.

The bed was wonderful, and I slept so well. The room was very nice, clean, and spacious, with a beautiful bathroom, and the service was fantastic. The location is beautiful too. Definitely eat at Broers, who rents this room. The food is really delicious!
