We spent one night here with our father and had a wonderful time. The homemade breakfast was a real highlight, and the rooms felt cozy and welcoming. Saskia was such a warm, attentive host and made sure everything was taken care of. Her hospitality made us feel at home. I highly recommend staying here.

A lovely, relaxing stay. The rooms were quiet, breakfast was delicious, and our host was incredibly kind. Everything was just right.

The balcony was a lovely extra, and we ate there at sunset. We had the top-floor room, rented by a friend and me, and both the regular bed and sofa bed were great. Saskia was a lovely host. Breakfast came to our room, with a delicious meal and plenty of choice. There was a microwave, fridge, and tea and coffee setup, all the useful things. It felt like home, and I only wish we’d stayed longer. The town is lovely, and so is this B and B. Highly recommended.

Saskia is so pleasant and accommodating, and somehow thinks of all the little things, even fresh flowers and reading glasses. Breakfast was delicious, with freshly squeezed OJ. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to leave. The village is beautiful and quaint, and I'd definitely recommend staying here. Thanks, Saskia.

We stayed here in 2019. The guesthouse was beautiful and peaceful, right in the fortress of Naarden, with a large, quiet double room and a good breakfast. Parking is at the back. We're especially grateful to Saskia's husband, who drove us to the nearest hospital in the middle of the night when I had kidney trouble. Saskia was abroad but still contacted her husband for us. It's a good base for visiting Amsterdam, Zaanse Schans, Alkmaar, Edam, Marken, Utrecht, and even Giethoorn. Fully recommended.
