The staff were so friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good too. We stayed at the vlindertuin, right in the middle of Nes, in a clean apartment with all the facilities we needed. It was surprisingly quiet and soundproof, which we really appreciated with our little baby. There’s a play area and lots of games for kids, so we’d love to come back when our little one is older.

The only awkward part for us was the shower right beside the beds, with no door or separate room. For four people in an apartment, we’d expected a bit more privacy. We still had a really nice stay. The location was ideal for cycling around the island, and the receptionist was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was very nice, with plenty of gluten-free choices. The shared outdoor space was good for relaxing, and having a free sauna was a lovely bonus. We’d recommend it.

The apartments are very new and really good, and the place offers very good value for money. The host was great too. It’s a wonderful base for enjoying Ameland and Nes, with a perfect location.

The toddler play area has lots of toys that guests can use freely. Breakfast is tasty, with a wide range of options, and everything is very clean. The kitchen is well equipped too.

We had a great midweek break in the center of Nes, with everything an easy walk away. The rooms were spacious and well kept, and the breakfast buffet was delicious with extended hours. The staff were especially friendly. I’d definitely recommend it.
