Our dogs got such a warm welcome at Overzee, which made the evening feel extra special. The room is stylish but still cozy, and everyone working there was so kind. We had steak cooked just right, with a really good wine alongside it, and the service made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. We’d happily come back.

The Bistro was easy with the kids and pets, and the staff were especially helpful and kind. We stopped in for lunch and had the XL Tosti with fries. Great food, and the beer was good too.

The terrace is lovely and still gets the late evening sun. We were greeted warmly, and the food was sublime. Definitely recommend it.

Dinner was incredible, and I was glad to spot a few familiar things on the menu as a South African living in the Netherlands. Our stay was amazing too. This is going to be our regular stop whenever we visit Ameland.

The staff were junior, but friendly. The dinner itself was pretty mediocre: the mussels and salmon were both average and generally overcooked. It didn’t seem like there was an experienced chef.
