B&B de Tuinfluiter

That we keep coming back year after year says a lot. It's a simple, cozy garden house looking out over the horses. We like being able to fix breakfast ourselves, with a fridge that's well stocked, instead of dealing with a dining room. The owners are lovely and always willing to help, and the service is excellent ♡

We could relax on the terrace in the evenings, and they kept the firewood for the fireplace topped up. Breakfast was put out the night before and had plenty of variety. We were warmly welcomed for our five nights in this lovely little house, where we didn't find anything missing.

The bed sags quite a bit and really needs replacing. The bathroom worked fine, but with no heat it was cold when we stayed in November. Heating comes from a wood stove and an electric fan; it felt cozy, though since we were often out, it took a while to get the place comfortable when we returned. The DIY breakfast was generous and tasty, especially the fresh orange juice. I wasn't keen on the coffee. The decor is cozy and has a rural feel, and it's a handy base for day trips. Nice B&B and good value for the money.

They made us and even my Great Dane feel so welcome. The owners were friendly and helpful, lighting the wood stove and quickly lending us a can opener when we realized ours was missing. The little farm cottage was beautifully furnished, spotless, and had a generous breakfast. Everything was perfect.
