Van der Valk Hotel Nijmegen - Lent

The location is a little outside the city, but being right next to a train station makes it easy to get around. I recommend a walk along the river. The room’s view over the landscape was incredible, and it had a great minibar and safety locker from Dometic. Dinner was excellent, and breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever experienced, absolutely 5 star. It’s a very good hotel.

The breakfast was the highlight for me, with such a wide choice of healthy, nourishing food that I’d call it the best I’ve ever had. Our room on the ninth floor was modern and roomy, with a huge bed, a very large bathroom, and a great view through the enormous window. The staff were lovely, friendly and polite. Everything felt just right, and it was one of our best stays.

The city views are great, and the location works really well. The breakfast is well worth trying. We’ve had excellent experiences here since the hotel first opened, and the management seems to keep things consistently good over time. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

We chose the area because we were visiting family nearby, so the location suited us perfectly. The room on the seventh floor was spacious, clean, and had a nice view. The air conditioning was a bit noisy, so we turned it off overnight and opened the window instead. There were a few small practical inconveniences in the bathroom, but we had a good stay at this stylish modern hotel.
