Boutique B&B Huys Oud Teylingen

The owner and staff were very accommodating, and check-in was seamless. The B&B is attached to two restaurants with a pleasant, sociable atmosphere, and guests get a discount. Parking was easy too. The location was even better than I expected. A wonderful stay and memory, and I'll definitely come back sometime ;)

Warmond is a charming village, and the boutique B&B is right in the center. The owners, including Mayke, gave us a very warm welcome. Our room was large, stylishly furnished, clean, and comfortable, with a lovely bathroom, a cozy bed, and Wi-Fi that worked perfectly. Parking was straightforward. We cycled around 13 km to the beach at Noordwijk and about 9 km to Keukenhof Gardens. The ground-floor room faced the street and was very noisy. Aircraft late at night and traffic and aircraft early in the morning made it impossible to sleep in or relax. The shower has no glass door, so water got all over the floor and we used our own towels as a bath mat. There was only one towel hook, which was inconvenient. They should pay more attention to the used towels in the room.

The beds were simply wonderful, and our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. My girlfriend and I came to the Boutique B&B for a relaxing weekend, and the calm of Warmond was there as soon as we arrived. Mayke and Marnix welcomed us so warmly. After a very generous breakfast the next morning, we walked beside the Kagerplas. Having nature so close by made the overnight stay a lovely little escape. Compliments to Mayke and Marnix for the high standard they offer guests.

Leiden is an easy bike ride away, with lots of nice little cafes, and the beach is also close by bike or car. The B&B sits in a quiet neighborhood right in the village, so it felt cozy and welcoming. We felt completely at home. There’s easy parking behind the B&B for cars and bikes. The vintage touches give the place a luxurious feel. The towels smelled wonderful, and the bed was really comfortable, which matters to us. Reception, room, hygiene, breakfast, location, building, hospitality, all super. The hostess was cheerful and happy to help us think through options. We had a very pleasant stay!
