casa Heemskerk

The location is ideal, right in the heart of Noordwijk village and about 10 minutes from the sea. The apartment itself is amazing, with a superbly equipped kitchen, a living room with a smart TV and a large sofa, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. Best of all, there’s a sauna!

Hugo was such a friendly host, and the place is furnished beautifully, right down to the little details. There’s a supermarket no more than a five-minute walk away, in a small shopping center with a pet shop, flower shop, bakery, and hairdresser. We’re looking forward to a few lovely days in Noordwijk. Highly recommend it! 😍👌

The beach is about a 30-minute walk away, and there’s plenty of parking outside the building. The apartment is nicely furnished, but the smell inside was incredibly unpleasant. Maybe it came from the indoor sauna in the bathroom with no windows. It smelled strongly of mold, and there were black marks high up on the bathroom wall.

We loved wandering through the charming little streets and alleys, with restaurants and shops close by. The apartment itself is quiet, thoughtfully furnished, and well equipped, and we felt very at home. We got a warm welcome from the friendly, personable landlord, and communication was excellent. The beach is an easy trip from here. Amsterdam takes about 30-40 minutes by car, and Keukenhof’s famous tulip gardens are around 15 minutes away.
