Stayokay Noordwuk

The breakfasts were a real highlight, with plenty of fresh food and vegetarian choices, and the staff were kind. We also liked the shared spaces, especially the outdoor playground. Our family would need a car to explore the area, though: the small bus only came once an hour and stopped running after 6 p.m. We found the four-person standard room less practical than similar rooms at other Stayokay locations. It felt smaller, needed some upkeep, and wasn't set up very well for kids. The sink was clogged, hooks were missing, and there weren't many places for wet clothes or beach things to dry. The toilet and shower lights switched on when they picked up movement in the hall, and the press-and-release shower stopped every minute.

The food was good and the staff were kind. It's a beautiful spot close to the dunes and sea, though a bit far to reach by public transport.

I've stayed here before and plan to come back next year. The service, accommodation, and food were all excellent. Thanks x

The bathroom's lack of ventilation was the one drawback. It left a bad smell in our room, and I hope they fix it for future guests. Even so, I'd definitely recommend hotel stayokay. We got a warm welcome from helpful staff, and parking was free. Breakfast was top class. We didn't try the Wi-Fi, so I can't say how fast it was. We stayed two nights and the room was cleaned in between, thumbs up for that. The location is top too, just a couple of minutes' walk from the sea beach. Keukenhof Tulip Garden is only 9 KM away, so this is a convenient stop if you're going there.
