The hotel is handy for the beach and parade, with shops and restaurants nearby, and pizza delivery is easy. The front desk staff were lovely and answered our many questions in English. The breakfast buffet had bread, scrambled eggs, meat, cheese, yogurt and fruit. The self-service bar took a little getting used to, but keeping track of what you used and paying at the end was convenient. The room itself was tiny, with very hard beds and pillows. The walls were so thin that we could hear neighbors coughing and moving around in the rooms next door and above us, which made sleeping difficult. There’s no air conditioning, and although you can open the window and there’s a fan in the closet, some nights were still very warm. There was no TV or other room equipment, and the shower splashed water everywhere, so nothing could be left inside without getting soaked. We thought the reservation included free parking, but it turned out to cost €6 per night and be a ten-minute walk from the hotel. After converting euros to US dollars, we estimated the room would cost 1,100 to 1,300, but we paid 1,650. For us, it wasn’t worth that price.

The owners were incredibly kind and helped us through two difficult situations. We had a great stay at the Bloom, with nice rooms and a good breakfast. It’s close to both the beach and the center, and there’s free parking.

Breakfast was really good, and the staff were friendly and fluent in English and German. The hotel is comfortable and close to the sea, with a very clean, fairly spacious room for the price. We also loved the bathtub. At night, you can help yourself to beers and snacks at the bar, which was a nice way to start the evening. There’s free parking a couple of blocks away.

Our rooms were clean and suited our needs, and the food was good. There’s lots of downstairs space for breakfast and dinner, and the staff have a really nice attitude. We did wish there had been a shared area where our group could spend evenings together. The communal spaces were locked up by staff, which made it hard to manage the group.

The staff were friendly and the accommodation was tidy, but the rooms were very noisy. The hotel is on a busy road, beside a kind of hostel with a younger crowd. There’s no air conditioning, and half the rooms get afternoon sun. There’s no TV either, and opening the windows makes the nights noisy.
