Such a lovely, peaceful place, just right for a happy holiday with the family.

The big living, dining, and kitchen area was spacious, and the setting was lovely. Parking is right in front of the bungalow, and it’s close to Efteling Park, which we visited with our little girl. The host was quick to respond by phone, even though we didn’t speak the same language. A message got a reply or callback within minutes. The main concern was hygiene, especially with our four-year-old daughter. The shower tray was worn and yellowish, and the sofa had lots of stains. We only got one towel each. The bedding was the worst part: we slept on very worn mattress pads with no fitted sheet or any other sheet over them. We had assumed they were mattress protectors, but there was nothing on top. There’s no microwave, though the kitchen is otherwise well equipped. The children’s room is tiny, with space for only two beds pushed together, and the bathroom is small with nowhere to put clothes. It’s a shame, as the price feels far too high for what you get, mainly because of the bedding.

A nice, friendly spot for something quick to eat after a walk. It’s cozy and I’d recommend it, as long as you’re not expecting fine dining.
