Vakantiewoning Boerderij De Gerrithoeve

I left disappointed and didn’t stay for dinner. There was just one vegetarian choice, a veggie burger, which didn’t feel imaginative enough for a meal out. I don’t go out to eat wanting street food. The staff also came across as a bit offhand; they could perhaps use some sensitivity or customer service training.

There’s a big outdoor playground, and kids can play inside too, so it’s a nice spot for a five year old. We stopped for coffee, lemonade, apple pie and ice pie. I really liked the ice pie, though the homemade, fresh apple pie tasted a little flat. We’ll come back for lunch soon. Definitely recommend it.

We had a great time here. The place is well kept, very kid-friendly, and a good option for a Saturday morning or afternoon out. There are indoor and outdoor play areas, plus a pony and sheep the kids can pet. The staff are kind and the play spaces feel safe. Only thing missing is a trampoline 😁 They also host children’s parties, including birthdays. Otherwise, five stars 🙃

A parent’s dream for a relaxed Sunday. The playground is fenced, there’s loads of space and activities for the kids, and the menu is child-friendly. You can enjoy a glass of wine while they run around and play.
