Gastenverblijf Klein Eden

A nice place.

The forest nearby made it easy to enjoy some lovely walks, and we’re sure to come back. Jos and Elly did everything they could to make us feel comfortable, and they’re wonderful people. We also loved the generous charcuterie board, it was more like a whole drinks spread. The cottage was lovely, with a beautiful enclosed garden where our dog could wander freely, and the Jacuzzi was a nice extra. The bed felt a little too soft for us, though that’s really down to personal preference.

We enjoyed cycling through the wooded area, which was a lovely surprise in Friesland, and had a delicious meal at a restaurant just nearby. The clean cottage sits in a peaceful spot surrounded by nature, birds, and flowers, and felt like it was all ours. A few days of relaxing in the jacuzzi was enough to completely unwind. Such a beautiful place to slow down and enjoy yourself.

Jos and Elly are such warm, friendly people, and we’ll definitely be back. The garden is beautiful and natural, designed by the owners, with a jacuzzi overlooking the garden and fields. It’s quiet, with lots of different birds nibbling at the suet balls. The holiday home is cozy, clean, and fully equipped, the bed is comfortable, and the shower is wonderful. We were welcomed warmly, and enjoyed a delicious breakfast and shrimp salad.
