The site was beautifully designed, clean, and well maintained. Everyone was respectful and friendly, and the location near the beach was great. You can rent a bike or tandem to ride there, which was so much fun. The playgrounds and pool and wellness facilities were great as well. The pool is open from 9:00 to 15:00, with a swimsuit required. Wellness time runs from 15:00 to 22:00, and is for use without a swimsuit. Staff across the facilities were very friendly, including Kiko, who gave us directions and tips for making the most of our stay. There are lovely restaurants in the village and a JUMBO supermarket for anything you need. I loved the experience. The only thing I missed was a gym, maybe soon? 🤩 Thanks a lot!

We let the campsite know more than a month ahead that a serious, unexpected family hospitalization meant we couldn't use our reservation. Even so, they refused to return the deposit for the pitch, which they will very likely be able to book again. I understand that there are policies, but in a force majeure situation I expected some empathy. Their only “gesture” was saying they wouldn't charge us for the full stay. We still lost the deposit for a service we couldn't use for reasons completely beyond our control. We were travelling from Catalonia (Spain), and it's very unlikely we'll get another chance to visit the Netherlands soon. It's very disappointing to see so little human understanding in such exceptional circumstances.

For families with kids, this is still one of the best camping parks. I love how they bring nature and camping together and keep coming up with new ideas. No wonder her majesty herself visited not long ago. And if you're just going with my kids, they have the best playground in the world 😉.

My brother and I came for two days before the season got going. Here's hoping it turns out to be a good season for the campground and its visitors, or better yet, a great one. Most of all, I hope we can enjoy nice weather and the end of all the restrictions from the corona pandemic.
