The service was a major problem. Reception staff were rarely at the desk, so I had to phone them in the room behind reception. The manager spoke down to me at times and had poor customer service, and the staff were slow to clear breakfast plates. Breakfast itself was mediocre. I wouldn’t return or recommend this hotel. My room was dusty and clearly hadn't been cleaned carefully. There were holes in the roof and door, and I got bedbug bites around my body. The modern bathroom was badly maintained, and the towels were worn through in places. The TV didn't work either. The bed was sold as a double, but was actually two small single beds that drifted apart overnight, which was very uncomfortable. The pillows were so poor that airplane pillows would have been better. One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in, with very poor customer service overall.

The rooms were soundproof, which was a relief because the hotel is right beside a football field and our room looked straight at the goal. It’s been nicely remodeled, but getting to our room was quite complicated.

After about 15 minutes of staying calm and waiting, the receptionist and night guard got so worked up that they eventually told me to leave. They said, “Leave immediately! You are not staying in this hotel! Please leave now!” I asked whether they were the owner, said I’d call the police, and asked to speak to the hotel manager. I’d arrived late, at 23:00, and the receptionist looked annoyed as soon as she saw me. There was clearly a double booking under my name. My company uses the Concurr SAP system from Amex, and everything looked fine on my end, but they insisted the booking was wrong. Instead of finding me a room and letting me rest, she explained their system and how the mix-up might have happened. The night guard joined in, and the situation escalated. In the end, they called someone and I got a room. I’d booked several days, but checked out the next morning and won’t return. This seems like a training, hiring, or management problem. In a customer-facing business, employees should be able to smile at guests rather than frown at them.

We booked two rooms for three people for one night, and one of them had several problems that disrupted our work trip. The shower in the bathroom didn’t work, and when we asked how to control the ventilation, staff gave us incorrect information. They said it couldn’t be adjusted manually, even though there was a control device in the room. There was also no separation for the toilet door, something we hadn’t been told about in the description or while booking, so there was very little privacy. The bed was dirty, with crumbs that seemed to be left by a previous guest. That raises serious questions about cleaning and hygiene. Together, these issues made the stay unpleasant. I expected better cleanliness, honesty, and service from a hotel with this reputation.
