The chalet is thoughtfully furnished, with all the details taken care of, and the owner is always pleasant and efficient to deal with. It's in a quiet, well-kept recreation park, within walking distance of charming Goedereede. Kwade Hoek is nearby too, and to me it's the Netherlands' most beautiful dune and beach. A wonderful spot, highly recommended!

A bike ride gets you to the beach quickly, and the garden was full of flowers, birds, and butterflies. We had lovely weather during our few days at Chalet de Koolmees and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. Highly recommended if you're after nature and a bit of quiet.

We had a wonderful stay and I'd happily recommend this fantastic chalet. The pellet stove makes it cozy and warm on cold days, and everything you need is there, with all the amenities close by. The village is an easy walk. For the beach, it's a few minutes by car, then a short walk from free parking. ❤️

Even in October, the bird- and bee-friendly garden was still in bloom. We could enjoy it from the spacious veranda with coffee or a glass of wine. The beach and pavilions are a 10-minute drive away, with free parking. The chalet has a fully equipped kitchen, including an air fryer, plus a washing machine and dryer that were handy for our family. The pallet stove warms up incredibly fast and makes the place feel cozy 🥰. All the ingredients for a perfect holiday are here!
