This was our second stay, and we brought the family this time. It was just as lovely as our first visit. The couple running the place are so welcoming, always smiling and happy to have a little chat. We’ll be back again. We had two rooms, both spacious and thoughtfully set up with a table and chairs, comfortable armchairs, and a coffee and tea station. The table worked well for us to get some work done. The beds were wonderfully comfortable and neatly made when we arrived. The bathrooms were roomy and CLEAN, with everything from towels in different sizes and shampoo to a nail cutter. The cozy living room is where they serve breakfast, which was freshly prepared and full of flavor, with a good range to choose from. There are board games for a relaxed evening, plus a trust shop where you can pick up snacks whenever you feel like it. Out in the countryside, there’s fresh air and animal sounds, with NO traffic noise!

We had a lovely room, very large, with a comfortable bed, soft chairs and a place to sit outside. The owners are a lovely couple, and the place is welcoming and easy to reach. There’s a separate outhouse for relaxing in the evening, with board games and newspapers, along with tea, coffee, beer and wine available to buy. We tried the evening meal option and ate it in the outhouse. We’ll definitely stay again.

We spent a week at B&B Het Gelders Buitenleven and were so well looked after by Anita and Theo. Their care with the details was incredible, and breakfast had a great choice of rolls, bread, jams, toppings, yoghurt, coffee, tea, juice and cooked food. Anita also took breakfast requests each day and prepared what we asked for the next morning. If you wanted the best steak and caviar, I’m sure they’d find a way to provide it. Anything else we needed, we just had to ask. Our room came with a Nespresso-style coffee machine, kettle and a selection of teas, as well as a TV, Wi-Fi, twin shower, plenty of towels and chocolates as a welcome gift. There’s also an honesty fridge with assorted beers, wine and soft drinks. Families would enjoy the outdoor pool and jacuzzi. It exceeded our expectations. Actually, it’s the best B&B we’ve ever stayed in. We had a wonderful time and would definitely go again. Thanks, Anita and Theo, for running such a lovely five-star B&B.

They’re so nice, and it’s such a warm place. The only issue was that our room was between the washing machine and dryer. I could hear them all night and couldn’t sleep well :/ I saw they’re making new rooms, though, and everyone should visit at least once to see the area! This place is a perfect starting point :)
