There are plenty of dessert choices, and the small portions make it easy to try a few. We also liked the zushi, especially the smaller nigiri that actually fit in your mouth. I think vegans and vegetarians can eat well here, and the seasonal vegetables were surprisingly tasty. I ordered them twice. The edamame and pickled cucumber are good choices too, and kids will probably like them. The staff are friendly and quick, though ordering by phone means there isn’t much interaction. The food is nice and there are lots of options, but nothing felt especially original or exceptional. I found it quite pricey. Some menu items seemed oddly out of place, like bread and butter as a starter at a Japanese restaurant, Dutch fried snacks, and tomato with mozzarella. Maybe those are aimed at kids. I wouldn’t recommend the fried food: both the tempura and sesame balls were very greasy. Parking is free, and the terrace looks nice. It was already very busy early on Saturday evening, so I’d book ahead. The long tables also make it suitable for bigger groups.

We celebrated my dad’s birthday and mine there with the family and had a great time. The adults and the kids both had a ball. The food was good, though it cost a bit more than last time, which is understandable. We’ll be back.

The service was quick and the dishes were delicious overall. The oysters arrived warm, though, which was awful and could be very bad. Everything else we tried was really good.
