The dinner was the biggest surprise. The deer steak and all the tasty sides were awesome, and I could taste gingerbread in the red cabbage. The room was very clean and warm, and the service was friendly and professional. It looks like a standard hotel and restaurant, but it surprised me in a good way. Great food. I’d recommend it 100% and want to come back!

A clean, welcoming room, friendly staff, and an excellent hotel.

I had a very nice stay on a business trip. The food was great and high quality, though the restaurant is quite pricey for business travel. I’m sure there are other options nearby, so that didn’t spoil the experience. The owner was very helpful at breakfast. Since we were there so early, he even asked what we wanted so he could prepare it first. Compared with other hotels in the Netherlands, it was definitely worth the price. A good experience overall.

The hotel was nice and the staff were good. They served good bread, and the soup was a little salty but still nice. Raalte station is very close, about a 10-minute walk.

A pretty standard Dutch hotel, noisy and behind on maintenance, with cheap, shoddy construction. Breakfast was good, and there’s a pool and steam room in the basement. The restaurant disappointed me: it took over 30 minutes to bring a premade dessert, and the portions were so small I went next door afterward to get something else to eat.
