Camping De Wijde Blick

The good parts were the clean, furnished houses, a garden where you could have dinner outside, and a feeling of safety. But compared with camping villages we've stayed at abroad, like in Italy, this one fell short. The pool was much too small for the number of people, and the single little cafeteria and supermarket felt undersized too. It was very noisy in the evenings, the beach was a really long way off, and the houses got hot with no air conditioning. Rooms were tiny, like being on a boat, and there were loads of wasps. It also cost too much for what you got, and some guests were rude and entitled.

The kids had a great time here. There are several playgrounds, plus a pool, and it felt safe enough to let them wander around. The campsite is clean, practical, quiet, and well guarded. You can rent bikes, and there are diving sites nearby. Renesse, with its supermarket, is also close. We had a really good stay.

There are great cycling routes in the area, and this is one of the best campsites we've stayed at. It is on the pricey side, but there's a good reason: you won't want for anything here. Awesome!

Spotlessly clean among the trees, with a lovely pool and a shop right on site. It's close to a beautiful beach, and there are plenty of cycling trails.
