The location is actually great, but the service has changed dramatically in recent years. We booked and paid for a stay, got written confirmation, and had arranged my self-employed work around it while looking forward to a break. A couple of days beforehand, they cancelled without giving a reason. Two different reception staff communicated in an inappropriate way.

The little house was super cute, with parking right outside, and everything was easy to reach on foot. We loved how relaxing the stay was, and the mini golf next door was good. The bar was great in the evening too. It was very clean, the pool was lovely, and the staff were friendly. The one letdown was having the toilet downstairs, which wasn’t great. Thanks!

The beach was the main reason I booked, and it’s right there, with town just a short walk away. I only stayed one night and arrived around 7 pm, so I found the restaurant closed and the bar serving food only. The hotel was clean, the staff pleasant, and they’d put fans in the room for summer. The food and drinks were good.

There’s plenty of room to relax here, and the garden was a treat for birdwatching. I spotted more kinds than I expected. The hotel sits right by the beach, with lovely sunsets in the dunes, and it has two pools plus a small wellness area. Dogs are made to feel very welcome, and the whole place has a friendly atmosphere. The kitchen was excellent, while breakfast was a real highlight. A charming spot in Renesse, Zeeland. I’d love to come back.
