The house has a wonderful atmosphere, and the location is fantastic if you’re looking for peace and quiet. We stayed for a week in mid-September. But the downstairs bedroom smelled strongly musty and like a cellar, and felt more like a storage room. It was full of woodlice. I understand that you’re surrounded by nature and the occasional bug can happen, but having them crawl around the bedroom made us really uncomfortable. We have an old dog, so he couldn’t use the upstairs bedrooms: the stairs are far too steep and slippery. I don’t mean to offend, but please do something about the woodlice. It would be such a shame for this lovely little house.
