It's a relaxed place where you don't feel rushed, and the food is lovely. There's also a chocolate and ice cream shop inside. If you're British and don't like a lot of burger sauce, ask for your burger plain, as they put plenty on.

The coffee was acceptable, and it was comfortable sitting outside on a warm afternoon. My ice cream, though, came in such a tiny portion that the couple next to me, with cones twice or even three times the size, raised their eyebrows and commented on it. Really strange. The waiter serving me seemed so earnest that I could only joke that it was so good it felt too small, but it honestly was bizarrely tiny. Still an okay place to stop.

Both sandwiches were tasty, one with pulled pork and one with carpaccio. It's a nice spot with a pleasant atmosphere and decent prices. The wait was a bit long for what was basically bread with toppings, though the place was pretty much full, so it was understandable.

It's a beautiful little shop for ice cream or coffee to go, with a tempting range of loose-leaf tea, chocolates, and bonbons, all nicely presented. You can also eat there. At other times, they offer restaurant meals and rooms to rent. Staff are friendly, and they let customers use the toilet, which was impeccably clean and well cared for. Prices are on the high side, but that somehow fits this kind of touristy shop.
