Motel One Rotterdam

Breakfast on the fifth floor was a pleasant way to start the day, and I appreciated the voucher for a glass bottle of water. The check-in was quick and smooth, and the whole stay felt efficient and well organised. Shops, restaurants and attractions are all an easy walk from this very central spot. Great value for money, and I'd stay at Motel One Rotterdam again.

The breakfast was very satisfying, and the hotel gives you a central place to stay in Rotterdam. At night, though, members of the public gather outside, and some are people you probably wouldn't want to encounter. The area also isn't the cleanest.

The window had an excellent view, and the Level 5 lounge was a really cool place to work quietly or take a break. Staff were professional and welcoming. The hotel is close to the city centre and the main train and tram station. The room was tiny, and had almost none of the usual basics, like tea bags, a kettle or a hair dryer. I guess that's how they keep the price competitive.

The rooftop bar and breakfast room are the standout features, and the location is great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable, though not especially spacious. If you're coming from the UK, be aware there's no kettle.
