Vakantie Boerderij De Kooiplaats

Kooiplaats is a lovely place to stay and take in the peaceful surroundings. Schiermonnikoog itself is beautiful, and the people are very nice. All the services are available, and the fireplace made the experience simply beautiful. A perfect spot to relax.

The Hooiberg apartment had plenty of room for six, with two toilets, a roomy bathroom, a wood-burning stove and a spacious living room. The kitchen was pretty basic. We had to call to get the bath and bed linen we’d paid for, and the apartment was very cold when we arrived; it seemed not to have been used for a week, so it took a few hours to warm up. For the location and rooms, I’d give it 9/10, but service and reception get 6/10. It’s a quiet, excellent location. The island is great, and the village is charming, with nice places to eat. Try Wad Anderz.

You’re only a 50-metre walk from being out in nature. The farmers are hardworking and friendly. A great farm holiday.
