Friendly staff and good service at a very nice place. You can stop in for a drink or a meal, stay a couple of nights, or rent it for a party. I’d recommend it.

The food is all made in house and fresh, right down to the granola served with the breakfast boards. The dishes are so good you'll want to take some home. Add the lovely terrace and pond, wonderful service, and genuinely friendly staff, and this little mom and pop herberg is easy to recommend. The chefs are talented, too. 10/10, support them! ⭐️

We stayed here while walking the Pieterpad and had dinner, which was good. The waitresses were delightful and smiling with everyone, and the owner checked that all was going well. A nice place, and we had a great time.

Who would expect one of the world's best restaurants in such a sparsely populated area? The Michelin star, attentive staff, and a wine list featuring some of the best from around the world all make it special. Jeroen does the food and Marleen the desserts, and there's nothing better. If you get the chance, go soon. You won't regret it.

We used this lovely place as our base for the Assen moto GP. The owners were so friendly and helpful. We were out most days, so only had breakfast once and dinner once, but both meals were excellent. Lovely staff, too.
