The breakfast was better than any I’d tried, honestly. You can taste how much of the owner’s heart goes into it, and that fresh orange juice was lovely. The apartment’s period furniture and little decorative touches make it feel magical, and it had everything we needed, plus plenty we didn’t. The design was wonderful and the location was great, with Sevenum old town about a 12-14 minute walk away. Horses and paddocks right outside the window were a lovely bonus. I stayed five days from 31 DEC. I arrived very late, but Christel came out to greet me just seconds after I parked. One thing to keep in mind in winter: the bedroom can get very cold if you like warm rooms. That was the only downside. Everything else was wonderful. Thank you, Christel, you’re the best hotel owner.
