Camping de Bosrand

Our children were busy from morning till night, playing, exploring, and making friends. They especially loved the tractor ride. The swimming pond was a lovely surprise for a splash and a cool-off on hot days, and the sanitary facilities stayed spotless. It’s a small, friendly campsite with a family feel. The staff were always ready to help with a smile, and we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the sense of community. We felt welcome as soon as we arrived. A relaxing place with a personal touch, and one we’d recommend.

The Pieternel gypsy wagon made for a wonderfully nostalgic weekend, and the hostess gave us a warm welcome. There’s a large swimming pond, and the area is great for cycling and walking. Wijster, 3 km away, has a supermarket and restaurants that are open on Sundays. I had a really successful trip and would definitely like to return.

The campsite is in a beautiful area, and we wished we’d had more than our four days there. We’d like to return and explore more. When booking online, you can’t pick a particular pitch, though you can call or email about it. For a farm campsite, it’s quite large, but still has a cozy feel. We stayed on a field with a trampoline, where our children quickly made friends. They also loved the swings, sandpit, and barn full of go-karts and other toys. The sanitary facilities were very clean, although at busy times there could be a wait to shower or wash dishes. That didn’t bother us much since we were on holiday. We had a wonderful time over Ascension Day and would absolutely recommend the campsite.

A beautiful spot to unwind, and we were greeted with a smile and looked after helpfully.
