Carlton Oasis Hotel

The room was comfortable, and the view was very good. There were lots of fresh, quality choices at breakfast. I also found it easy to unwind or exercise with the sauna, pool, and gym, and the Wi-Fi was fast enough for work. The Zoom rooms are a real plus for remote work. With more than 300 parking spots, arriving and leaving was stress-free. A beautiful hotel that works well for both business and leisure, and I highly recommend it for the facilities and convenience. The staff were 10/10. The gym was quite decent for a hotel, 7/10, while the pool and sauna get 6/10. Rooms were 4/10. The windows are so poor it feels like they’re open, and you can hear passing cars. When it’s cold, the winter breeze comes into the room, and the heating seems to be just for show. The furniture is old, and the mattress depends on your luck. On level 4 it was 2/10, while on level 3 it was 6/10.

You can clearly hear the street from the room, which also had a faint cigarette smell. The carpet was dirty, the walls had scratches and dirt, and the bathroom was outdated. The rooms overall are very dated. The entrance looks nice, but that’s where the good impression ends. This isn’t a 4-star hotel. Luckily, I only stayed one night.

I booked for the pool and sauna, but during my three-day stay I couldn’t use either even once because swimming lessons kept occupying them. I’d hoped to have a relaxing break, but all the reconstruction noise left me feeling more stressed instead. Very poor service.
