The plane’s history is remarkable, and the care put into every detail and the luxury really stand out. We loved our time here. This is one of the most unique and outstanding places to stay in the world. You really need to experience it yourself to understand how special it is.

The runway views are a big part of the appeal, with clear sightlines to takeoffs, landings and parachute jumps near the airport. Vliegtuigsuite is a one-room hotel in an aeroplane, and the design and amenities are amazing. Our host was welcoming and very friendly, explaining everything we needed to know. Breakfast topped it off, with lovely local delicacies. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed for one night in April, and as aviation geeks, we were blown away by how the plane had been turned into a hotel just for us. It’s pricey, but the facilities and service made it worth every €. Our host was super friendly, and his wife made an apple cake because they knew it was a birthday surprise for my boyfriend. I was a hotelier for six years, and this was the best hotel stay ever. Thanks so much, we’ll definitely be back!

The host was really friendly and made us cheesecake to enjoy when we arrived. It was divine. The hotel was very clean and luxurious, and is an amazing place you have to experience at least once. Highly recommended.

A whole plane to ourselves, nicely renovated, with an infrared sauna and a terrace overlooking the runway. In good weather there are planes, parachutes and gliders all around. What an awesome experience, we had a fantastic night! 😍😍😍
