The Biz Stay team were amazing and went the extra mile to make sure we had a good stay. Kelly, Harry, Jens & Florian, thank you. It was one of the best customer service teams we’ve experienced, and we’d definitely return. We stayed at Biz Stay, Toren van Oud in The Hague. The apartment facilities and views were fabulous, and it felt like a home from home. We’d highly recommend it when visiting The Hague.

Kelly’s service was excellent, and the location suited me perfectly. I had a great stay at Bizstay in Toren van Oud. The rooms were spacious and had an amazing view across the city. Five stars!

I stayed here for about five months, from winter into summer. It was a positive experience overall, though a few changes could make it a five-star stay. The view over The Hague is fantastic, and the large glass surfaces bring in lots of light. Watching the sunset is amazing. The place is functional and fully equipped for a longer stay, with all the appliances working, and the admin staff are pleasant and reachable. The location is excellent, especially for people working at nearby international agencies. There are parks for running and the sea is within walking distance. Working remotely here for hours or days isn’t comfortable. The table and chairs aren’t suitable, and my back would start to hurt. There’s only Wi-Fi, no cable internet. It works okay, but isn’t as reliable if you’re on video calls all the time. Light is the biggest issue: the bedroom has heavy dark blinds, but the main area only has light shades. In a south-facing apartment, it’s very hard to work with a monitor and so much sun coming in. There’s a lot of dust for some reason. Even after carefully cleaning my work surfaces, a layer would build up every few days, and little fluffy balls of dust often appeared on the floor. The windows don’t open, except for two that tilt slightly. Temperature was another challenge. In strong wind and cold weather, it could feel somewhat cold indoors, and I could hear wind whistling and sometimes feel a draft, so warmer indoor clothes were needed. In sunny weather, the greenhouse effect kicked in quickly. The central AC cooled it down easily, but keeping the temperature comfortable still felt like a constant battle.

They’ve started renovating the building, though I don’t know why. City hall should be ashamed to allow that instead of demolishing it. It’s the ugliest building I’ve ever seen. Old, abandoned, and lacking any aesthetic appeal, it doesn’t fit the local architecture at all. It sticks out like a sore thumb and casts an ugly shadow on Statenkwartier.

I spent two months here. The interior was nice and well equipped, with everything I needed for everyday life.
