Escamp Apartments

The location is a real plus, with a tram line directly connected and several supermarkets close by. The bed and flat were clean. But the owner didn’t respond to messages, even when I just asked for more towels. Only one window opens, so the air inside was terrible most of the time, and it got really hot at night. The shower had mold, and the terrace was badly overgrown with wild wine, with the wood in terrible shape. The toilet seat was loose. There was no additional accommodation, and the bed sat in the middle of the room with nothing to lean against. There was no vacuum, so I had to use a broom that was sticky and sandy. The drain was full of hair.

Most of the place was very clean, and the host did bring us a fan for the hot weather, which helped and deserves a point for the effort. But we came during a heatwave and the window wouldn’t open, so it was still a major downside. The bathroom and kitchen hand soap were both watered down, so we bought our own. There was no shower gel either. We got only two towels for two people, and had to use them for our hands and face at the sink as well as after showering. I would have given it 2/5, but the fan brought my rating up to 3/5.

Clean and spacious apartment in a good location, with a market close by. Worked perfectly for a vacation.

Fantastic customer service, and a great place to stay. Highly recommend it.
