They failed to deliver a birthday package to our room, despite it being paid for well in advance. If they’d handled the mistake properly, I wouldn’t have left a negative review, but they didn’t. Trying to get a refund became a long, frustrating process. Their trouble resolving such a standard issue, together with not keeping track of booked services, raises serious questions about the administration’s competence. And you’re a hotel, you should be used to foreign names. If spelling is a problem, at least copy and paste 😅

The room was clean and had a sea view, a really nice bonus. We enjoyed the sauna and hot tub, and the beach was close by. Booking through the website was very easy. Definitely recommended!

We live in The Hague, so Scheveningen is close by, but we still made a proper visit of it, strolling along the boulevard and having a lovely meal at Crazy Pianos. The friendly piano bar atmosphere was a real treat, and we grabbed croissants from the nearby shops to bake later. We'll definitely come back. The hotel itself was spotless and full of thoughtful touches, from lights that switch on as you pass to its chic decor. Our room, number 4, had a gorgeous sea view, plus a sauna and a bathtub in the room. There was also a cozy place in the kitchen for evening drinks. Checking in by phone was really simple. Highly recommend it.

A private sauna is a real bonus here, and the hotel has all the amenities we needed. There isn't a physical reception, but the owners were very involved and helped us whenever we needed it. A great place to unwind during a day in Scheveningen.
