Hilton The Hague

The location was central, close to nice shopping streets and public transit. We enjoyed the restaurant's fresh fish and good drinks, and breakfast was tasty. I especially liked the bagel station. During happy hour the lounge had tasty tapas and good drink choices. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, though a little dated. We had a friend stay with us, and the staff were happy to bring a rollaway bed. We were also lucky to get a complimentary upgrade with lounge access. The staff were incredibly attentive, and the Dutch man who checked us in was especially nice and chatted with us at the front desk. At this location, water was available for pickup at the front desk, but wasn't offered in the room or brought up on request. Other Hilton properties I've stayed at tend to provide bottled water in the room. Delivering water to rooms would improve the guest experience.

Breakfast was excellent, and the hotel is perfectly placed for walks along the city's refined streets. It has a calm feel, with spacious rooms, gentle light, and a mix of classic comfort and modern restraint. There's a quiet sophistication with just enough Dutch character. Service feels polished without being distant, and everything runs without fuss. It makes a business trip feel like leisure, and leisure feel a bit more elevated.

Breakfast here is extraordinary, and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. I feel welcome every time I visit, which is why this remains my favorite hotel. Special thanks to Mr Bas at reception and Mrs. Olga at breakfast for brightening my day. Looking forward to booking another stay.

It was hard for me to find the place after moving locations to see more of the Hague, but once I got there, it was easy to find my way around. Breakfast had a great selection, and everyone was great, from check-in to check-out, including the bartenders as we tried to experience it all. I'd definitely book again, and I mean it when I say I'll be back very soon.
