Hotel Corel

We had fun and enjoyed our July 13-17, 2025 stay. The beds were comfortable, the sheets and bath towels smelled clean, and we slept well. The fridge and strong shower were especially good, both a must for us. The room was spacious, with a beautiful ceiling that had been artistically renovated. The hotel is basic and outdated but preserved, with a lovely exterior. The location was convenient, five minutes' walk to Scheveningen beach and two minutes to AH, with everything nearby. Housekeeping didn't vacuum our room, though. The shower door lock was broken, but that didn't bother us. The stairs are narrow, so I had to carry my son's buggy to the first floor. What irritated me was that they just threw a sackful of wash in the hallway, making it hard to open the door wide. Recommended.

We stay at this hotel every time, and this year it had been completely renovated inside and out. The rooms were fresh, spacious and clean, with daily cleaning and friendly staff. You can walk to the sea in five minutes. They left waffles, tea and coffee in the room as a complimentary treat. It seems to me that most of the reviews were written by competitors who haven't stayed here. Definitely recommend!

The tram 9 stop is about a 5-10 minute walk away, and it runs between the station and the beach. I’d read several negative posts about the place, but I don’t agree with most of them. The room had been renovated and looked new, apart from the windows. It was clean and didn’t feel old, and the exterior facade is quite stylish.

I barely slept because noise from nearby rooms kept disturbing me. There were also lots of mosquitoes at night, and the room had no wardrobe. I’d asked for a double bed but got two twins instead. The place was clean, well looked after, and in a convenient location, but those room issues made the stay disappointing.
