Hotel Hague Center

The setting is very urban, with good restaurants, cafes, and an upscale shopping street all within a few hundred meters. There's also a Salvation Army Service Center across the road, so you'll encounter people from all walks of life. The hotel has a long set of rules, including specific bans on criminal behavior, which left me wondering whether those things had happened there before. Stay aware of your surroundings and enjoy your visit. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was big enough, beds were made regularly, and sheets and towels were changed often enough. I'm less convinced about how regularly the rooms themselves get cleaned.

The rooms were okay, though nothing special, and the air conditioning could be better. Still, it's a good hotel in a great spot for a couple of days in den haag, with the center within walking distance.

The AC only made noise and didn't cool the room. Apart from that, the room and service were satisfactory.

Check-in was quick, and they even let us into the room an hour early. It was clean, and the location made it easy to get to shops and public transport. We could hear street noise at night, though, and the soundproofing could be better. Doors closing in nearby rooms made loud bangs that came through clearly. Fine for a short visit.
