The rooms are spacious and lovely, and they have bigger, very comfortable beds for tall guests. My partner is two metres tall, so that was a nice surprise. We had a room across from the hotel, which was quiet, and we slept well even though the location is lively, with a lovely square and a big terrace that closes at a decent time. The staff are very friendly. This was my second visit to La Paulowna, and it's my go-to place when I stay in The Hague.

Can't wait to come back for another trip to den haag. It was the best stay, with comfortable rooms, loads of ambiance, and really lovely personal service.

We spent a comfortable couple of nights here and had delicious food in the restaurant. The owners gave excellent service, and our room looked onto an attractive square with trees in bloom during our spring visit. The hotel was close to the trams, and it made a delightful end to our holiday.

We've stayed here several times over the last ten years. The rooms are cute, warm, and modern, and the location puts you close to everything in The Hague. The owners are fantastic and the service is amazing. Don't let the scary staircase put you off, someone will help you. There's now a fairly new restaurant, Bayonne, just above the hotel, and it's fabulous. Eat there at least once!
