Limehome Den Haag Keizerstraat

The bathroom was a highlight, clean and spacious, with a big shower and lovely underfloor heating. There were thoughtful extras too, like paper towels, dishwasher tablets and shower gel. We stayed two nights and had a very pleasant time. The room was roomy, the bed was comfortable, and we could watch streaming services in bed. There was only one comfortable chair, though, and having a second would have been nicer. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and cooking gear, plus salt, pepper, oil and vinegar. The small fridge and dishwasher worked well, and there was a little table and chair for meals. We were on the ground floor, which was lucky because the stairs to the upper floors are very steep. Ask for a ground-floor apartment if stairs or heavy bags are a problem. There’s a €200 security deposit on arrival, refunded a few days after checkout. The bus and tram stop are close, Albert Hijn is just a few metres away, and the beach is about 300m down the street. Thanks for a great stay.

It’s a shame about the noise, since you can hear other guests in their rooms and it makes staying here less comfortable. The room was quite large, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was too. If it were quieter, I’d definitely come back.

My booking was cancelled just three hours before I was due to arrive, because someone had reserved several rooms even though I’d booked four days earlier. I had already paid the full room price and the security deposit, and they still haven’t returned my money. They’re scammers. I’d never stay in one of this company’s hotels again.

We were so disappointed, it was the worst stay we’ve ever had. Everything was dirty, and I can only hope they really washed the bedding instead of just making it look neat.
