I spent about a month here, staying in the Residence Inn section of the hotel. It connects with the Moxy, so I could also use the bar and restaurant there. The location worked really well, with lots of places to eat and bars nearby, and the rooms were large and comfortable for a longer stay. What made it especially enjoyable was the crew's hospitality. I always looked forward to stopping by the bar or restaurant, or just seeing them during the day. Saudra, Elena, Veronica, Elena, Daniella, Natalia, Olivia, Rezan, Junior, and Anude were all spectacular, welcoming, helpful, and great to be around. If I'm back in the area, I'd stay here again and look forward to seeing everyone.
A good value, with free breakfast and quiet rooms on the upper floors. Each room has a full kitchen, and the air conditioning worked well. It's a solid hotel in a handy spot near the central station and an Albert heijn. I'd recommend it.
The employees made the place feel welcoming and were very friendly. Breakfast was a nice complimentary extra. The hotel is close to The Hague Central Train Station and other public transport, and you can walk to plenty of restaurants, shops, the library, and cinema.
The room itself was okay, but I was disappointed by the breakfast, which had very limited choice and didn't feel like the sort of spread I'd expect at a chain such as Marriott. It seemed more like a family-run boutique hotel. The room service was also careless in a few ways. On arrival, the kitchen brush still had dried food from the previous guest, and both the shower gel and shampoo bottles were empty. Later, we came back to find a wet cleaning cloth left on our child's book, damaging the book and its color. I can't tell whether that was deliberate or just careless, but I would have expected the cloth to be left on a table. The staff dealt with the first two problems quickly. The manager, Veronika, also emailed an apology and said I was a valued Marriott member. But after I wrote back about the damaged book, nobody replied. It made me wonder whether the first email was just a standard template for complaints. I'm giving two stars because of the carelessness in parts of the service, and the breakfast's limited choice and quality. Maybe it's a better fit for someone traveling alone.
I stayed for nine days and will miss this hotel. The rooms were large and clean, much bigger than the adjoining Moxy, and the central location put good food and parks close by. Housekeeping was prompt, if a little early. I'd come back if I'm in The Hague again and would recommend it. I thought the breakfast spread was good, with pastries, bread, yogurt, coffee, juice, cereal, cold cuts, and hot dishes. It can get a bit crowded, but you can take your meal back to your room.
