Short Stay Maff Apartment

Arthur was a wonderful host, and I hope I get the chance to visit again and stay in his great loft. It's about 10 minutes from the train, which gets you wherever you want to go. If you're driving, Arthur offers parking for a small extra fee that's very reasonable, though you won't need a car during your stay because the train works perfectly. There's plenty to see, do, and eat nearby. Brood Van Bro is less than a 3-minute walk away, close enough to smell the bakery. It has the best sourdough I've ever had, plus amazing flaky pastries. Yuzu is also one of the best meals I've had in a long time, and it's under 3 minutes away on foot.

We had a really enjoyable time in Den Haag, and the apartment was a big part of that. Arthur was a great host, and the stylish place is perfectly situated for sightseeing, with lots of cafés and restaurants around. We highly recommend a visit :)

Arthur is a wonderful host, and I'd definitely stay again. The apartment is thoughtfully designed and has everything needed for either a short or longer stay. It's close to The Hague HS station, with excellent restaurants nearby.

The steep, narrow, winding flights of stairs are the one thing to think about. Since it's an attic apartment, I wouldn't recommend it for young children or older people. I understand this kind of staircase is common in the Netherlands, though I doubt it would meet UK building regs. It's not something Arthur can control. Beyond that, we had a delightful week and hope to return. The apartment is comfortable and well equipped, with a great big walk-in shower room. You can cook dinner at home, though there's a ceramic hob and microwave but no oven. Arthur made us feel welcome, shared several useful suggestions based on what we like, and was available throughout without intruding. It's a quirky attic flat and a handy base for visiting several Dutch cities. Den Haag train station is about a 20-minute walk away, and Rotterdam, Delft, Utrecht, and Leiden are each under 40 minutes by train. Bike hire is easy to find, and the area is flat for walking. There's a supermarket five minutes away on foot, plus lots of bars, cafés, and restaurants.
