Staybridge Suites The Hague - Parliament by IHG

We had a long weekend in The Heage and stayed at the Staybrights suites hotel, right in the city center. From the entrance, you can see the Binnen Hof, where the Dutch government is based. The hotel is in an old building that has been fully restored, with a spacious entrance and high ceilings. Our room was large enough and had a kitchen, though it seems better suited to a longer stay than ours. Breakfast was good, and it’s only about a five-minute walk to the city center. The place is also accessible for disabled guests and has its own parking. Staff were polite and helpful.

The location was the highlight for us: our room had a stunning view of the parliament building, and there’s plenty of food and shopping just a short walk away, from luxury choices to budget ones. A local market was even happening one street over on Wednesday. The staff were lovely, especially the man and woman working Saturday, who kindly accommodated us when we arrived before check-in. We appreciated the range of hot and cold drinks in the lobby, plus a kettle and coffee machine in the room. There was plenty of closet space and full-size bathroom amenities. Breakfast had a huge selection. We especially liked the pastries, fresh fruit, and changing hot dishes like eggs, hash browns, and pancakes. We had nothing but good experiences and were very glad we stayed.

The reception team made us feel at home, and there are good restaurants right nearby. The hotel has everything you need, including a kitchen and coffee maker in the room, plus laundry facilities that came in handy. Breakfast had a huge range of choices, and the central location is excellent, with a tram stop right outside for getting around wherever you want to go. A really great hotel.

We loved The Hague, and staying at Staybridge Suites The Hague - Parliament made the trip even better. The location is excellent, with everything we needed just a few minutes away on foot. Our room looked toward the reception and breakfast area, yet it was quiet and we slept undisturbed. It was spotless and comfortable, and the kitchenette had everything needed to cook for at least four people. Breakfast is free and has a great selection; you can ask the kitchen staff for gluten-free bread or cakes. Nella served us and was especially professional and kind. There’s tea and coffee available around the clock, and The Pantry sells all sorts of snacks and hygiene products. We arrived around midnight from Schiphol airport and got such a warm welcome from the kind reception staff, with lovely Christmas decorations all around. I can’t wait to return.
