Townhouse Den Haag

The lobby has free snacks and water, which was a nice touch. I found the hotel comfortable and pleasant, and it’s in a very convenient spot for getting around. The staff were polite, professional, and helpful. I had a very good experience and would recommend it.

The breakfast was good, with everything needed and fresh bread, and you can ask for different pillow options. They also offer free fruit to take along, tasty soup of the day, free water, and a coffee machine in the room with coffee and tea. Parking is available through agreements with two nearby garages at hotel rates. The hotel is quite new, about a year old, and centrally located, though there’s some street noise at night. The staff were very polite and helpful. There seemed to be too few employees. On Saturday, one person was handling breakfast, cleaning tables, refilling the food, and restocking the coffee machine. Room cleaning was only on request. We’d booked an early check-in, but the rooms weren’t ready. They didn’t charge us extra, though, and gave us breakfast for free. The bathroom fan ran all day and night and couldn’t be turned off. Water also escaped past the shower door. Connecting room doors should come with doorstops as standard. There seems to be a courtyard, so why not let guests park their bikes there?

We didn’t have breakfast included, though it looked very good. The hotel is great value and in a quieter area, so we slept well. The staff we met were all friendly and helpful. It feels newly built, with modern, nicely decorated rooms, dimmable lights, and lovely bathrooms with rain showers and underfloor heating. It’s ideal for visiting The Hague. The train station is a five-minute walk away, and the city centre is four minutes away, with shops and restaurants along the pedestrian street between them. We took a tram from the city centre or station to the seaside, and it was only eight minutes to the beaches. We stayed for two nights on 23 and 24 August. I’d definitely come back. Five stars.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and supportive, and made my trip feel safe and comfortable. Staying here was the right choice. Den Haag is quieter and charming, and Amsterdam is about an hour away. I commuted there daily for business, with Den Haag Central Station only a seven-minute walk from the hotel. I stayed at Townhouse Hotel The Hague from 31 July 2025 for almost a week. My room was clean, tidy, well maintained, and thoughtfully designed. I enjoyed an early walk around the neighborhood each morning, passing the bar and restaurant on the hotel’s first floor and smelling breakfast. Thanks to the staff for the warm welcome and lovely experience. I’ll definitely stay here again when I return to the Netherlands.
