Parc Maasresidence Thorn

The park and accommodation are very child and pet friendly. There’s a little desk for kids, baby gates, children’s beds, a travel cot, a lovely terrace, and a large enclosed garden. The units are very clean and generally well equipped. Check-in and door access are handled through your phone, there are charging ports at each unit, and you’re allowed to bring your car. There’s also an on-site restaurant, paved paths, and a small indoor pool. We really enjoyed our stay and could see ourselves coming back. A few basics are missing from the units, including a hairdryer, spatula, toaster, iron, and ironing board. There’s a kids’ desk but no toys. The indoor pool is a nice extra, but feels under-equipped for a higher-end park. There’s little space to leave shoes, no coat racks, so winter coats have to go into tiny lockers, and strollers end up gathered by the entrance. The nightly price felt very high, even in winter. The heaters weren’t much use either; the rooms stayed around 18 even when they were set warmer. It was a lovely stay, but a few additions would make the price feel more worthwhile, especially better pool facilities and those missing basics.
