It was peaceful here, and the apartment is close to everything. You can also use the hotel's sauna and swimming pool. The only thing missing was soap.
10/10
Milou at reception was lovely and really helpful. The apartment itself is comfortable, with nice decor in an older building. Valkenburg is a pleasant city to explore, and staying here added to the experience. I'd definitely recommend it.
6/10
The accommodation was great, though finding parking was difficult and expensive.
4/10
The replacement room had no sewage smell, but its cleanliness still fell short of what most people would expect. There was mold and staining on the carpet, even though the amenities had been recently renovated. Our first room smelled strongly of sewage; when we raised it at reception, a 500-metre walk away, they said we had the “wrong room.” I wouldn't return.

Apartment 38.4 has plenty of space and feels cozy, with very little noise from outside despite being near the city center. It isn't especially modern or quite as clean as it could be, but it works well for the price and I'd come back. Noise from neighbors above or next door can carry, though that's part of staying in an older building with character.
