Lightotel Veldhoven

This place will stay in my memories forever. I love it, and we had a great time in such a friendly, clean atmosphere. I didn’t book through any website, but still got excellent service over the phone. They let us in without payment, and I trusted them with my credit card to confirm my details. Superb!!!

There’s no hotel parking. It should say "Parking available neaby," not free parking, which suggests the hotel has a yard or garage. Staff were very slow replying to my email. I waited two hours for the payment link, and only got it after calling the hotel, where the number just goes to a robot. Very weak customer care. The room was extremely small, the bathroom so cold I couldn’t shower, and the pillows didn’t feel fresh. The walls and doors aren’t soundproof, so you hear all the noise from the hall and other rooms.

Rooms are very small, but clean and nice for a short stay. At a cheap price, you get a fridge, coffee maker, water heater, TV, and AC.

Very, very light. The rooms are tiny, the climate control doesn’t work, and there was no staff available at check-in. Arriving on a hot summer day like that was no fun.
